Delivery FAQs

Direct Landscape Supply offers Moffett delivery, bulk bag delivery, and loose bulk delivery across Calgary and surrounding areas. Below are some of the most common questions about delivery access, placement, pricing, and limitations.

What access is required for Moffett delivery?

A minimum 9 ft (2.7 m) clear access width is required for safe Moffett delivery. We cannot drive through neighbouring properties, and we do not place materials over rough or unstable terrain. Final placement is determined by the driver based on safety and site conditions.

Can you place pallets or bulk bags in my backyard?

Yes — when site access and ground conditions allow, our Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) can place pallets, bulk bags, and materials closer to your project area. We cannot lift items over fences. Final placement is at the driver’s discretion based on safety, access, and site conditions.

Do you offer Moffett delivery for sod, pavers, and bulk bags?

Yes. We specialize in Moffett delivery for sod pallets, pavers, retaining wall materials, and 1-yard bulk bags across Calgary and surrounding areas.

How far can the Moffett reach?

Reach varies by site conditions, obstacles, and ground stability. Our driver will assess safe placement on arrival. Clear access and firm ground help maximize placement options.

Do you deliver in winter?

Winter delivery is weather dependent. We do not deliver on snow days or in extreme cold. Deliveries are scheduled on milder days when road and site conditions are safe.

Do you offer same-day or next-day delivery?

Same-day or next-day delivery may be available depending on order volume, location, and scheduling. We recommend ordering 1–3 business days in advance whenever possible.

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout Calgary and surrounding communities including Airdrie, Cochrane, Langdon, Chestermere, Okotoks, and nearby areas. For out-of-town deliveries, please call to confirm availability and pricing.

Do you offer bulk loose materials and bulk bags?

Yes. We offer bulk loose delivery for larger projects and 1-yard bulk bag delivery for convenient placement where access allows.

How much does loose bulk delivery cost?

Standard tandem delivery (1–10 yards) is $120 within the City of Calgary. Additional charges apply for surrounding areas outside Calgary. Maximum 1 product type per tandem load.

How much does bulk bag delivery cost?

Bulk bag delivery is $100 for the first bag and $35 for each additional bag delivered at the same time to the same location.

Where will bulk material be placed?

Loose bulk material is delivered by dump truck and dumped as per your instructions where access and safety allow. Placement and dump instructions can be coordinated during checkout, but final placement remains at the driver’s discretion based on site safety and delivery limitations.

Will trucks cross sidewalks or restricted access areas?

Some trucks will not cross sidewalks, curbs, boulevards, or other restricted access areas. This depends on site conditions, truck size, load weight, ground stability, and safety concerns. Final placement is always at the driver’s discretion.

Fuel Surcharge

Due to unforeseen fuel prices, delivery pricing may be subject to a fuel surcharge. This surcharge may fluctuate with market conditions and may change without notice.

Terms, Conditions & Delivery Limitations

Direct Landscape Supply Ltd is not responsible for scratches, cracks, damage, or injury resulting from delivery or placement of products.

By ordering our products, you acknowledge and consent to these limitations and agree to indemnify and hold harmless all Owners, Directors, Employees, and Subcontractors of Direct Landscape Supply and its divisions.

Any product placed on the street, roadway, or public access area becomes the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery Area: Delivery areas include listed cities and surrounding areas within 5 km, unless otherwise stated. There may be weight or access restrictions in some areas, and these must be disclosed at the time of order confirmation.

Out-of-Town Deliveries: Direct Landscape Supply reserves the right to refuse some out-of-town deliveries. Automated delivery pricing may not always be accurate due to large postal code areas. All out-of-town orders are reviewed after placement, so please call to confirm delivery availability and pricing.

Once a truck is on route, the customer must receive the delivery. If a truck is turned away or the delivery cannot be completed for any reason, Direct Landscape Supply reserves the right to charge the customer for all applicable trucking costs associated with the failed delivery.
