1400 Sq. Ft. Kentucky Bluegrass Sod
Fresh Kentucky Bluegrass sod sourced from trusted growers and harvested for customer orders. Approximately two full pallets of sod provide coverage for about 1400 sq. ft.
Up to 10 Cubic Yards of Premium Screened Loam
Premium screened loam for grading, improving existing soil and preparing the installation area before your new sod is laid.
This package includes up to 10 cubic yards of screened loam. Your actual soil requirement depends on the existing grade and soil conditions. Please specify the required quantity and any important delivery instructions when ordering.
Fresh Kentucky Bluegrass Sod for Calgary Lawns
Kentucky Bluegrass is a popular choice for Calgary lawns because it creates a dense, attractive turf and performs well in Alberta growing conditions when properly installed and maintained.
Premium Screened Loam for Lawn Preparation
Proper soil preparation can make a significant difference when establishing a new lawn. The included premium screened loam can be used to improve grade, prepare the installation surface and improve existing soil conditions before laying the new sod.
Included soil: up to 10 cubic yards
Approximate coverage: each cubic yard covers about 300 sq. ft. at 1 inch depth
At 1400 sq. ft.: 10 cubic yards provides approximately 2.5 inches of coverage across the project area.
Sod & Soil Delivery in Calgary
This package involves two different landscape materials and delivery methods. Sod is delivered palletized, while the screened loam is delivered loose by dump truck.
Palletized Sod Delivery
Sod remains palletized during transportation and unloading to help keep the rolls organized and ready for installation.
Dump Truck Soil Delivery
The screened loam portion is delivered loose by dump truck to an accessible and suitable location at the property.
If you would like your soil and sod delivered on different days, include your preferred delivery dates in the order notes. This can be helpful when soil preparation and grading need to be completed before the sod arrives.
For many projects, having the soil delivered first gives you time to complete grading and preparation before the sod arrives. If you plan to start laying sod early in the morning, consider scheduling the sod delivery for the previous day.

Sod Pallets & Returns
The sod portion of the package is supplied on pallets. Applicable pallet deposits are added at checkout.
Customers receive a $40 refund per eligible pallet when returned in accordance with our pallet return program.

Complete your soil preparation and grading before beginning sod installation. Once the sod arrives, install it as soon as reasonably possible and begin watering immediately.
