Sod is a perishable, living product and must be installed the same day it is delivered, especially in hot weather. New sod requires daily watering until fully established.
If you notice shrinking edges or discoloration, this is an early sign that more water is needed. Please refer to our Sod Installation Guide and Watering Guide for best results.
