We recommend scheduling your sod delivery for the day before installation if you plan to begin installing first thing in the morning. This provides time for harvesting, transportation and delivery.
Sod is a living, perishable product. Install it as soon as reasonably possible after delivery, particularly during hot weather.

During peak season, we recommend ordering 1–3 business days ahead whenever possible to improve product and delivery-date availability.
Sod Pallets & Returns
Sod is normally delivered on pallets to help protect it during transportation and unloading. Applicable pallet deposits are added at checkout.
Customers receive a $40 refund per eligible pallet when returned in accordance with our pallet return program.

Installing & Caring for Fresh Sod
Prepare the installation area before your sod arrives and install the sod as soon as possible after delivery. Water immediately after installation and maintain consistent moisture while the new root system establishes.
