Professional Sod Delivery
At Direct Landscape Supply, we believe professional delivery is an important part of maintaining sod quality from the farm to your property.
Unlike some suppliers, we do not pile or dump sod during delivery. All DLS Select sod is professionally delivered on pallets to help reduce damage during transportation, maintain sod quality, and make installation easier once your order arrives.

⚠️ Important Sod Care Notice
Sod is delivered fresh from the farms and is a living product that should ideally be installed within 24 hours of delivery, especially during hot weather. In mild weather conditions, sod can last up to 48-72 hours on the pallet depending on weather conditions. Water should be applied immediately after the sod has been laid to help establish healthy root growth and prevent shrinking or discoloration.
If you notice shrinking edges, gaps between rolls, or discoloration, this is an early sign that additional watering is required. New sod requires consistent daily watering until fully established.
We recommend having your sod delivered the day before installation to allow time for harvesting and transportation. To help ensure availability and secure your preferred delivery date, we also recommend placing your order 1–3 days in advance.
