Sod is a perishable, living product and should ideally be installed as soon as possible after delivery.

In mild weather conditions, sod can generally remain on the pallet for approximately 48–72 hours depending on temperatures and weather conditions. However, earlier installation is always strongly recommended for best results, proper root establishment, and overall lawn health.
